An evening of art with Sheri Gee at Kingscote Estate

An evening of art with Sheri Gee at Kingscote Estate

We're thrilled to invite you to join us for another special evening here in our warm and welcoming 15th century Tithe Barn – this time with an artistic bent.

Following the success of last autumn's harvest celebration, we're hosting an Arts Evening with Sheri Gee and writer Kim Baynes.

It promises to be a lovely, relaxed occasion: good food, good company, and a chance to hear from two creative voices who know and love this part of the world.

Many of you will already know Sheri. She was our artist in residence for South East Open Studios last year, and during that time she painted the most beautiful depiction of the bluebells in our woodland.

Based in East Grinstead, Sheri is a figurative painter who specialises in oils, drawing much of her inspiration from the Ashdown Forest landscape on our doorstep.

Alongside Sheri, writer Kim Baynes will be joining us to share a history of the Estate, rounding off an evening of art, place and creativity.

As with our harvest evening, we'll be serving a simple supper:

• Burgers
• Sausages
• Jacket potatoes
• Beans
• Salads

Wine and beer will be available to purchase separately, including our own award-winning organic English wines.
