Art at Kingscote – South East Open Studios (SEOS)
Artist Sheri Gee visited us recently and demonstrated her bold brushwork with this beautiful painting of the bluebells in our woodland here at Kingscote. 
Sherri will be showing her art at Kingscote as part of the South East Open Studios event 6–22 June.
Based in East Grinstead, Sherri Gee is a painter of figurative and Ashdown-inspired work, specialising in oil painting.
From her bio:
With a degree in Illustration, Sherri has developed her fine art practice over many years, through private focus, short courses and life drawing, whilst working part-time and raising a family. Commuting into London, Gee became captivated by the solitary commuter in the rain, drawn to paint the passing colours of coats and umbrellas, lights and reflections. The rain collection has grown to over thirty paintings. Her recent work continues a fascination of colour, motion and mark making in paint.
