April at Kingscote Estate & Vineyard
Spring has most definitely sprung here at Kingscote. The lambs have arrived, the daffs are out, and the vines have had their Spring trim. Due to our climate in East Grinstead, we prune our vines later than some other English vineyards. This should – fingers crossed – help us to avoid the late frosts that can damage new buds. We now get to enjoy the thrill of the buds bursting open and the shoots starting to grow….

Our Mother’s Day tea was such a roaring success that we’re back for Easter. Join us in our beautiful 15th century tithe barn for tea, finger sandwiches, cakes, scones, and – most importantly – a glass of English bubbles.
